Building on top of De Facto, we are testing a new approach for educators in addressing the problem of conspiracy theories with the help of the deconstruction method. We study and model the impact of conspiracy theories on various social systems and produce practical tools for the detection and measurement of susceptibility to conspiracy theories.
Using cognitive science, we developed an education-oriented framework for disinformation to help teachers and educators lead the way and raise awareness and understanding of the processes involved in misinformation and disinformation. Contains a new framework, practical tools and a wealth of case studies and other resources to use in class and beyond.
